Basic Life Support Workshop
Basic Life Support is an essential part of saving lives and can be the difference between life and death.
This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to attend any emergency first aid situation and deal with them safely and efficiently.
Its better to know it and not need it then need it and not know it.
Our Basic Life Support workshop focuses on what to do when an adult becomes unresponsive looking at how to respond to an emergency and when to call 999/112.

The workshop covers the following:
- Scene survey
- The Primary Survey
- Recovery Position
- Resuscitation (CPR)
- Demonstration of an AED (Practical session in 3 hour workshop only)
- Choking – (3 hour workshop only)
- First Aid Kits
We also offer bespoke training. If you would like something covered in addition to the standard workshop let us know.
Assessment and Qualifications:
Continuous observation with practical and theoretical assessments throughout. You’ll receive a certificate of participation upon completion.
Cost: £25 Per Person (minimum 6 delegates)
for up to 12 delegates

There is a maximum of 12 delegates per course.
Duration:
This is a 2-hour workshop.
Apparatus used:
We use Laerdal Anne dolls – adult, child and baby, AEDs, bandages, Auto Injectors, slings, face sheilds, First Aid kits, plasters, tweezers, choking vests, gloves, manikin wipes, blankets, floor mats, ice packs
Infection control:
We have put in place extensive measures to ensure that our clients will be safe during our training and that together we stop the spread.
Refresher:
It is recommended to refresh the training once a year. Please see our other workshops. As your child grows up we can offer sessions for older children.
Breaks:
You will have a 15-minute break during this session.
